André Simha on sharing data in a single platform such as Routescanner and the need to work together

During the Port Authority Round Table last June, ports talked about the importance of working together to create a globally neutral platform for schedules of ocean and inland operators. As a follow up, in September 2021 Routescanner organized a webinar to explore the way forward and applicability of this neutral platform for the visualization of container transport options and improve sustainable and cost-efficient global supply chains.

André Simha (Global Chief Digital & Information Officer MSC & Chairman of the DCSA Supervisory Board) recorded a video message for the occasion to emphasise the importance of sharing data in a single platform such as Routescanner and hereby avoiding the need to share data with every party individually.

By adopting digital initiatives such as Routescanner, we can let our customers around the world reap the benefits of having schedule information in a transparent, dynamic and neutral environment.
