What kind of cookies do we use?

We use functional, analytical and marketing and advertising cookies.

Functional cookies.

These cookies are necessary to establish settings or preferences during a visit to and/or use of the Routescanner Service or for subsequent visits. By placing cookies, our Routescanner Service can 'remember' your preferences. Without cookies, you will be bothered with the same questions each time you use and/or visit the Routescanner Service.

Analytical cookies.

These cookies record which pages you view when you visit and use our Routescanner Service, in which order and for how long. These analytical cookies allow us to create web statistics. These web statistics can help to better tailor the Routescanner Service to visitors. This allows us to improve our Routescanner Service to you as a user.

We use Google Analytics as a measuring instrument for analytical cookies. This measuring instrument uses IP addresses to measure information about, for instance, the number of unique visitors.

When using Google Analytics cookies, we follow the recommendations of the Dutch Data Protection Authority:

The functional and analytical cookies are not privacy sensitive. The cookies do not contain personal data. Therefore, we cannot use these cookies to recognise you as a person. Neither can these cookies be used to recognise you on other websites. We only use the anonymous data to improve the Routescanner Service. We do not share this data with third parties.

Lead Forensics

This website uses Lead Forensics, a B2B sales and marketing enablement tool. It is operated by Lead Forensics, UK Headquarters, Communication House, 26 York Street, London, W1U 6PZ, UK.

The Lead Forensics tool uses a tracking code for identifying businesses visiting our websites based on their business IP addresses. This is not the same as cookies. The Lead Forensics tracking code only provides information that is readily available in the public domain. It does not, and cannot, provide individual, personal or sensitive data regarding who has visited our website. Under no circumstances will the data be used for the personal identification of an individual visitor. If IP addresses are collected, they will be anonymised immediately after collection. The information generated by the Lead Forensics tracking code is transmitted to the Lead Forensics tool and processed and stored in the UK within a secure environment.

The Lead Forensics tool does not provide us with the IP addresses. It provides us information on what companies have visited our website, the date and duration of their visit, and the web pages that they visit. As an international company, to be able to guaranty you the best service, we transmit this data to our subsidiaries and distributors as far as necessary. Beyond this purpose, there is no transmission of personal information to third parties.

More information can be found at If you would like to opt-out of this tracking, please do so using the link provided:

Linkedin Insight tag

We carry out marketing campaigns via LinkedIn. For that purpose we use LinkedIn Insight tags that are third-party cookies provided by LinkedIn Corporation.

The LinkedIn Insight Tag is a piece of lightweight JavaScript code that we have added to our website to enable in-depth campaign reporting and to help us unlock valuable insights about our website visitors. We use the LinkedIn Insight Tag to track conversions, retarget website visitors, and unlock additional insights about members interacting with our LinkedIn advertisements.

The LinkedIn Insight Tag enables the collection of metadata such as IP address information, timestamp, and events such as page views. All data is encrypted. The LinkedIn browser cookie is stored in your browser until you delete the cookie or the cookie expires (there's a rolling six-month expiration from the last time the your browser loaded the Insight Tag).

More information about the LinkedIn Insight Tag can be found here. In the privacy statement of LinkedIn you can read what LinkedIn does with your personal data.

You can enable or disable cookies by modifying the settings in your browser. Please refer to your browser's help section for specific instructions or go to for more information on cookies and how to manage those. Please note that some parts of this website may not function properly if you disable cookies.
